Laksa

Are you a fan of Laksa? Almost 8 yrs working and staying in Singapore, I only had my 1st Katong Laksa during my 5th year here. Surprised?

Recently, my colleague has introduced me to Prima Deli's ready-to-cook pastes and premixes for some authentic Singapore favourites. I tried their chilli crabs months ago (thanks to Belinda) and found it quite tasty.

Last wkend, I managed to try out their Laksa Premixes. The packet came with 4 different individual packs - the Laksa paste, the Laksa Premix (look like coconut powder), dried laksa leaves and the sambal chilli.

All you need to do is to add 600ml of water into the Laksa paste, add in the premix (coconut powder), stil and bring it to boil and pour it onto your Laksa noodles and served with Prawn, Chicken, Taupok and Bean sprouts. Don't forget to sprinkle the dried laksa leave on the laksa to enrich the fragrance and enhance the taste. The sambal chilli paste taste a bit sweet and it goes very well with the laksa. Guess Prima Deli's food expert has done numerous testing to come out with the perfect combo of taste. Good for us.

Craving for Laksa? Try it out now. It's really simple. However, I would suggest you to add a little less water into the premixes for thicker and richer Laksa soup.

Will I try to cook again? I would definately say YES.
